Inspection Report

Good afternoon everyone ,

Its  a busy time at Craigton . Although its very cold again today and we've even seen the odd flurry of snow , we are beginning to spot some signs of spring - bulbs are growing in the outdoor pots and other brave plants are thinking about growing again! We have had confirmation that the fruit trees for our new orchard should be with us the week beginning 18th February - its all very exciting - we just hope that the ground will have defrosted by then so we can plant them! We'll let you know when they arrive and when we shall be planting. Our garden wizz , Tony, was very busy with his chainsaw and hedge trimmers yesterday - the children were all watching him through the windows as he cut down trees and bushes , then climbed on his very big ladder to give the big hedge a lovely  trim :-) Hopefully we'll have the chance to get gardening again very soon!

We're also getting ready for Chinese New Year this weekend and we will all be celebrating the Year of the Snake . This is always a popular festival - the children love all the Chinese activities(not to mention the food tasting!)....and any excuse to celebrate New Year in Scotland ! Its also Shrove Tuesday next week (pancake day!) as well as Valentine's Day , so please check your child's file next week - we'd hate anyone to miss out on those lovely cards and gifts!
