Flu Immunisation Programme

The annual flu immunisation programme is being extended over the next three years to include all children and young people aged 2-17 . This will be delivered through GP practices for pre-school children , and through primary and secondary schools for school aged children . This will be phased in over the next three years , staring October 2013 for 2 and 3 year old children .
Please contact your GP practice to find out about arrangements for getting your child the flu vaccine , or call the NHS inform helpline on 0800 22 44 88 for more information .

While on health matters - we have had a second confirmed case of chikenpox in the sunflowers building . Please be aware of the symptoms   http://www.patient.co.uk/health/chickenpox-in-children-under-12
If you think your child may have chickenpox , please consult your GP . Children may not return to nursery until no new spots are appearing , and existing spots are scabbed over - usually around 5 days from  first appearance .

A reminder  that the nursery will be closed on Monday 23rd September.
