Im sure that you're all aware that the Olympic torch will be coming through Culter this evening - I hope that you all manage to see it (and get home again!) ...and it means of course that tomorrow is our very own Olympics- its almost like we planned it ! :-) Yes its the Sunflowers's Sports Day at 3pm . If your child is not normally here on a Tuesday afternoon , please bring them in at 2:45pm(no earlier please as we have lots to do !) You will already have had letters asking that your child wears their team colours on the day - please ensure they have suitable footwear too .
Everyone is welcome to this event - not just sunflowers parents - so please come along and support the Craigton athletes. You will be expected to join in too so be prepared! We also have a short graduation ceremony for those children starting P1 after the summer , and refreshments for all. Please note that seating is extremely limited , so bring something to sit on . The forecast is for cloud and 11degrees.....but so far not rain :-) but if it is raining , or has been and the ground is wet , we will have to postpone til the same time the following week . Lets just hope we dont need to!
Don't forget to let us know if you're planning holidays over the summer, and if your child will be leaving us to go to school or another nursery , please let us have leaving dates (email marion.barker@clns.co.uk)
And finally , a reminder that the nursery will be closed on Monday 9th July and Monday 24th September this year .
